Junior UI/UX Designer

Overview

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer with a strong foundation in both user experience and user interface principles. The ideal candidate will possess the following core skills:

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • User-Centered Design Expertise: Proficient in user research, empathy mapping, information architecture, wireframing, and prototyping. Must demonstrate a strong ability to conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
  • Interaction Design & Problem Solving: Skilled in designing intuitive user flows and interactions, with a proven ability to identify user pain points and develop effective, user-friendly solutions.
  • Visual Design Proficiency: Strong command of visual design principles including color theory, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Design Tools Mastery: Expert-level proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop).
  • Responsive Design Acumen: Experience in designing interfaces that provide seamless experiences across various devices and screen sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, stakeholders).
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure pixel-perfect designs and a high level of visual consistency.

Other Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features.
  • Exhibits a blend of creative and analytical skills, ensuring design accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Collaborating effectively with different team members and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure the final designs meet all requirements.
  • Adhering to style standards on fonts, colors, and images to maintain brand identity and provide a familiar interface to users.
  • Design other marketing materials (Flyers, Business Cards, Whitepapers)

Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 yr experience focusing on UI/UX and Graphic Design.
  • Can work creatively under time pressure
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive frameworks
  • Strong portfolio of website design work.
  • Amenable to work on a night shift schedule.
  • Great talent for creating fresh, unique and professional designs.
  • Ability to work in a team alongside professionals with different areas of expertise
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Expert in Figma: Create style libraries, Components and handover files
  • Excellent communication skills
